Raven Riley has become one of the queens of the solo girl porn site. Her site launched in 2004 and for the last several years she has kept at it. She has gone on to do adult films and has won various prestigious awards in the adult industry.
When I first logged in to Raven's member's area I was presented with a news page telling me that Raven is now writing her own porn site reviews (what a coincidence!) and also explaining that she has been on vacation for a month and apologizes for the lack of updates and explains that this is the first vacation she's taken in 3 years.

I'm only giving Raven a 6 for content quality. The reason is because you would think that a solo girl who has been around for 4 or 5 years and has won awards and become one of the top solo girl sites on the Internet would be able to afford to hire a professional photographer who can take stunning pictures and offer them in high-resolution format. Instead what we're left with is pictures like this one:
Ok so it's not bad (and don't get me wrong), it's just that it is rather low resolution and that picture has not been altered in any way. It's the same resolution that you will get in the member's area. So don't expect to pay extra to get extremely high resolution pictures because you'll be disappointed.
The videos, on the other hand are very decent. You get the option of streaming or downloading your choice of Quicktime (.mov), Windows Media (.wmv) or iPod (.m4v) format.
Another thing I want to point out (although I'm not taking it into consideration with the score because it's subjective) is that when you're browsing the pictures the full sized picture is displayed on an html page so that you can browse the set like a slideshow:
This personally annoys me but others might like it.

Here is where Raven's site really shines. Like I said, Raven has been online since 2004 and in that time she has shot TONS of content.
I did a quick count of the photo sets. There are currently 11 pages each with 50 sets. So you'll get well over 500 photo sets each containing 50 - 150 pictures (somewhere around 40,000 pictures of Raven total).

I was also presented with a message saying that if I stuck around for 30 days that I would be able to download the entire sets as zip files. This is nice and I can understand why they want people to stick around and give them more money ... but I would have preferred to be able to download the zip files right away.
There are currently 5 pages of videos, again with 50 videos / page ... giving you somewhere around 200 - 250 videos to download or stream.

Rating update frequency is tricky because it's subject to change at any time. I might review a girl's site and see weekly updates and give her a great review but then someone purchases a membership a year later only to find that she's since quit and not updating anymore. Thus I feel it is important to give you the date of this review and to point out that the frequency in which she updates could change.
I've given Raven a 5 on updates because I always think pay sites can do much better with regards to how often they update and Raven is no exception. I realize it's hard. It's hard for me to update Coed Cherry every single day but I suck it up and do it anyway. First thing every morning, even Saturdays and Sundays I sit down at my computer and update my site because people are counting on me. And I don't even charge for Coed Cherry !
Anyway Raven's last update was on April 21st 2008 and this review is being written May 23 2008. That's over a month with no updates. However, Raven did say in her news section that she's taking her first vacation in 3 years and promises that she will be back. She also added 6 picture sets on March 30th and 10 sets total in March. 10 new sets / month seems reasonable to me as long as there's plenty of other content to browse through (webcam archives, bonus material etc.) and there is.

Raven's site has a fair amount of bonus stuff.
For starters, you can comment on every single picture set and video. This is a great way for Raven to get feedback from her members so that she can ultimately improve the quality of her site and make her paying customers happier
There is also an extensive archive of webcam shows. Each webcam show streams in a flash player. Here's a screenshot of the archive with a show playing in the flash player:
Like many other solo girls sites there is also a forum where you can chat with Raven and the other members, if that's your thing.
As for bonus content (ie: not Raven) you'll get the standard "Friends" section with bonus galleries of other solo girls. One thing that Raven does differently than other girls is every time you visit the friends section you get completely different sets, which is nice.

Usually I feel that pretty much every single pay site is over priced, mostly due to the lack of content. In Raven's case, however, I think you're getting a great deal. While the quality of the content isn't as good as I would hope, the amount of content makes up for it.
There are 2 options:
Over all if you're fan of Raven Riley and have considered buying a membership to her site you will not be disappointed. On the other hand, if you're looking for extremely high-resolution pictures of Raven you won't find them. You will, however, find an incredible amount of content which makes $29.94 / month a very fair price.
